VLC 0.4

Hi, 

I installed VLC 0.4. 
I´m using RED HAT 7.2 on HP OMNIBOOK XE3.
KDE 3.0
VLC run perfectly on GNOME(GREAT PROG !!!)
But in KDE, I can see the movie and hear sound for about 1 minutes and 
then VLC crach.

Any ideas ?
