octl_ReadTitleKey failed in libdvdcss

I can't seem to get vlc to work on the dvd Metropolis. I get the errors
that are listed below. I can get vlc to play some of my test dvds that
probably are not encrypted. I've installed the latest libdvdcss and it
appears to be accessed correctly. The initial problem seems to be the error
where the octl_ReadTitleKey failed. Any thoughts on this?
