[vlc] Error: Module mpegreader:ps2ts not present

Hi Folks,

When trying to start a DVD-Stream I allways receive this error-message:

Provider: local1
  Error: -1
  Info: Unable to start program film
  Info: Error: Module mpegreader:ps2ts not present

Streaming of a VOB file works 100% correct, the solution described in
http://www.via.ecp.fr/ml/videolan/vls/200209/msg00011.html didnt work.
System is RedHat Linux 8.0. 
Does anyone have suggestions to solve this problem?
