file /usr/local/qt-embedded/lib/fonts/fontdir - is ?

Making a symlink from /opt/QtPalmtop/lib/fonts/fontdir to
/usr/local/qt-embedded/lib/fonts/fontdir solved this problem, and the
video played fine.

that?s a Problem with QTDIR.
You must do "export QTDIR=/opt/QtPalmtop/ bevor running.
Try to run "Konqueror" from Command-Line and you will have the same error!

Ok thanks for the info, I'll add the symlink to the postinst script. I 
do not have a iPaq from 3800 or 3900 series available so if there are 
other issues please let me now.
