I al sure that the VideoLAN developpers would appreciate if you post a
good bug report on this list, saying at least :
- your hardware
- your OS
- your video file or the name of your DVD
- the scenario of the crash, if it is reproductible,
- the log messages you get when you launch vlc for a terminal with
  "-vvvvv" option
