Problem with apt-get

Hi,

I am under Linux/ Debian Sarge.
I have add ro my /etc/apt/sources.list, VideoLAN's FTP as 
advise in web pages www.videolan.org/vlc/download.htm.

But when I try to install the VLC with apt-get install vlc, 
it use the version wich is on debian's server ( 3.3.0 for 
Sarge) and not the one of VideoLAN's server.

Did it arrive to others users or is it a problem of my computer ?
