liba52 and IMDCT ?

Using vlc 0.4.4 with option --ac4-adec a52 and using a52dec 0.7.4,
I get the following error message, although DVD playback seems
to work flawlessly:

"No accelerated IMDCT transform found".

If I use the builtin ac3 decoder, this error message does not appear.
Can I savely ignore it? What does it mean?
