Hard problem with vlc in windows 2000

System Windows 2000, duron 700Mhz, 256 Mb

Hello to all. I install the windows version of vlc, i try two versions, the
0.4.1 file and the install version 0.4.4.

Allway i get same errors, the program run bad.

i try all, put other codecs in config, update directx drivers, sound
drivers, try diferent files.

If I try to play a DVD, the program open the window for play and i see the
message "windows it is going to close this program" and the same happends if
i try to open other mpg file, see the first frame and the program go to
close.

I get all time errors, how can i do???

I have a soundblast 5.1 player and Riva TNT grafics adapters.

The system it is runing well with bsplayer - divx and mpg in windows media.

I paste a log example. it is runing the ac3 codec bad???, but the others mpg
files (music video) that I try don't have ac3 audio only stero.
