[vlc] Questions

1. Can VLC encode uncompressed video (with PCM audio) as an  MPEG-2 
video (with MP2 audio) Transport Stream?

I can play the file with VLC with no problems.

2. Can VLC do any MPEG-2 encoding? Under Encoders I see no listing of 
mpeg2enc.

3. Can VLC transcode PS to TS?
