[vlc] Getting frame info

When I am viewing a MPEG1 file and I pause the stream, how can I tell the frame number at that point? I want to create a chapter/entrypoint for this frame when I author my VCD.


In general, is there any media player out there that can advance frame by frame and/or display the current frame number in real-time including when I pause the stream?
