[vlc] VLC and dc10plus

Hi,
I have a Pinnacle card DC10plus and I've installed vlc snapshot whith 
video for linux support. I can't obtain the output and I can't understand 
why. VLC returned an error like it can't see the /dev/video0. If I use 
xawtv I can see the input from my dc10plus. Last: my video input is S-
Video.

Any suggestion?
