[vlc] Re: using livedot com compiling error

I have exactly the same problem...

I have also manage to compile LiveMedia library using Cygwin...
When i tried to compile the liveMedia library( with cygwin) i had an
error in the compilation of groupsock directory which might be important.
I got an error -> cant find the strstream.h file which is included from
the GroupSocketHelper (i am not sure that is included from this file - i
am away from my office)
After this i looked for this file (strstream.h) somewhere in the include
directories of
cygwin and i found it in two directories \usr\g++3\include and
\usr\mingw\g++3\include
After i put -I \usr\g++3\include in the Makefile of the groupsock
directory, then i managed to compile the LiveMedia library
and then i tried to compile the vlc (with LiveMedia and finally i got the
below error...)

Any idea...?
