[vlc] CANNOT play avi and asf with opie-vlc in iPAQ

Dear ALL,

I am NOT able to play avi files and asf files in my iPAq running familar with OPIE and opie-vlc

opie-vlc http://xxxxxx:xxxx/xxx.asf or .avi

it just simply gives a grey screen on the screen or nothing appear
or error: cannot find LIST_xxx


do you know why?
