[vlc] error launching program

I installed vlc with rmps for my redhat 8.0 server. I am getting the
following error. I found a couple post on this, but not sure I am having the
same problem.


vlc: error while loading shared libraries: libavcodec.so: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory
