   Ogg demux support is only supported in the forthcoming 0.5.0
version. I'm surprised you could play your movie under Linux.

   VLC has its own plugin interface and does not use third-party codecs.

   There is an Xvid plugin in the CVS, and the ffmpeg plugin can also
decode Xvid video.
