[vlc] VLC problem using v4l

I am having problems using my Hauppauge WinTV USB
device with VLC, I am able to use the device with
xawtv which I assume means my v4l setup is not the
problem, I am using the usbvision driver to access the
card with v4l. I have tried with both versoin 0.6.0
compiled from source and with the latest CVS snapshot
and get the same result. Shown below is the output
from the command "./vlc -vv --noaudio
