Hello!
I have a problem in using vlc for VOD.
I put an "avi" file on an apache server under linux. Then from a Windows XP client I try to read this "avi" file.
vlc -vvv http://daibinlan.home.6test.edu.cn/feelings.avi
where "daibinlan.home.6test.edu.cn" is a domain name associated to its ipv6 address 3ffe:321f:0:175::1
this does not work.
Then I added --ipv6
vlc -vvv --ipv6 http://daibinlan.home.6test.edu.cn/feelings.avi
It doesn't work neither.
while this does work:
vlc -vvv http://202.117.48.152/feelings.avi
where 202.117.48.152 is the ipv4 address of the server
(the ipv6 connection between the server and the client is good. I can use IE to browse the web site under ipv6)
can you help me?
thanks a lot!
DAI Bin
