Use a multicast address! Your 192.x.x.x is not even in the range of
mulitcast addresses. A multicast addres should be in the range of
224.0.0.0 - 239.255.255.255.

The range 224.0.0.x - 224.0.0.255 is used for multicast igmp traffic
between multicast routers, etc and won't be forwarded by routers. .
Even the range 239.0.0.0 to 239.255.255.255 is generally used for
specific stuff ("administrative scoping") and is advised not to use.

Use google to search on multicast under linux! Or read the Multicast
HOWTO on: http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Multicast-HOWTO.html
