Drifting a little off topic and being controversial, I personally would 
rather see DTS supported before worrying about the 
hacks^H^H^H^H^Hchanges made to AC3 supporting more than 6 channels.  
DTS is a far better sounding (and just better designed :) codec.

(and the good version of LOTR uses DTS-ES 6.1)
