[vlc] No subtitles on WinXP

Hi,

I'm using VLC to watch some videos in Windows XP. They are movies 
contained in the ogm format, produced with ffmpeg for video and ogg for 
audio. I also have two subtitle formats: microDVD and subrip. I can 
watch the movie in VLC on Windows XP, but whatever I do, I cannot get 
any subtitles. I use the new vlc-0.6.0. I changed the font-file, changed 
the type of subtitles in the option menu to the right one, changed the 
position of the subtitles, tried both subtitle files. Nothing works. As 
I look at the message window, I don't see any message related to the 
subtitle decoder (spudec). As I play the file in Linux with mplayer, the 
(microDVD) subtitles work fine. However, I want to be able to play them 
on a Windows platform. Does anybody have any idea what the problem could be?
