[vlc] output separate video and audio stream from VLC?

Hi all,

- Is it possible to separate the video and audio streams (NOT one single TS
stream) when VLC streaming the DVD/VCD/etc?

- How hard is it to assemble the the separate streams so that they are
synchronized?
