[vlc] No Audio

I tried to playback a VTS_01_1.VOB file that I created with DVD studio pro.
The video plays back fine, but I get
An error message saying that there is no suitable decoder module for fourcc
Œmpga¹.  VLC probably does not support this sound or video format.

The file that I originally read into Final cut was a mpeg file that I
created with ffmpeg.

Any help?
