[vlc] Re: VLC 0.5.3 does not start on Mac OS x

one more thing...

when i hit ctrl-c VLC terminates correctly and i see the following 
output.

btw, when i start VLC -vvv from the shell i don't see the icon bouncing 
up
and down... don't know if this information is important so.
