[vlc] Re: play streaming in windows media player ?

Well, the only  way I know to have  WMP read a stream sent bu  VLC is to
unicast  it using  HTTP. Be  aware that  WMP dosen't  include any  MPEG2
decoder by default.

Things are roughly  the same for Real player, except  is has support for
rtsp, that  should be included  in VLC quite  soon. (a test  RTSP server
written in Python is already available, in the VLC source tree).
