[vlc] Frontend like DVLSM

Hi all,

i´m searching for a frontend like DVLSM from Bart Kerver. It´s not
available, so a search for an alternative.
Knows someone a frontend, which allows to browse the servers video-content,
maybe with screenshots an media-information? Or control it´s behavior over
eg. http ???

I would be glad, if someone has the VLCstarter.zip or information about
projects with this intention.
