[vlc] Problems with vlc 0.6.2, Win2k on Thinkpad T30

Hi all,

When trying to play mpeg files the colours are very distorted, with Windows GDI.

With DirectX, the whole video window is completely red, i.e. no video is seen. When other windows
are moved on top of the video window, some movement can be seen thru them (yes, that's weird).

Any help to resolve this would be appreciated.

P.S.
The graphics adapter in a T30 is an ATI Mobility Radeon 7500, if that's relevant.
