Ok i have read the utils README file and i found out
the files and extracted them into the lib directory
using the utility provided in the utils .....
I compiled and the compilation worked fine .

I recompiled VLC with --enable-pvr and i had no errors
doing so and i installed vlc and it was ok ....

the main problem now i have is that i am using VLC to
get a video out of the pvr i use this syntax :

vlc -vvv
pvr:/dev/video0:norm=pal:size=720x576:frequency=179600
--sout
'#transcode{vcodec=mp4v,vb=800}:std{access=udp,mux=ts,url=127.0.0.1:1234}'

but nevertheless i have no output i can neither hear
anything nor see anything

I tried "cat /dev/video0 > testfile.mpg

yet testfile.mpg always stayed 0 bytes which means
nothing stored on it ....

What can be the problem now !!!!

Thanks
Regards
