I don't know whats goinf on with vlc but for the
practise i started the pvr with the VLS and everything
was ok once again i started vlc to read from the
streamed mpg movie from vls the sound started to get
choppy once again which means in my opinion that
someehow the audio in vlc is not that well treated.

also when i stream out with vlc i get this msg :
mpeg_audio decoder debug: emulated startcode (no
startcode on following frame)
[00000167] mpeg_audio decoder debug: emulated start
code
[00000167] mpeg_audio decoder debug: emulated
startcode (no startcode on following frame)
[00000167] mpeg_audio decoder debug: emulated
startcode (no startcode on following frame)
[00000167] mpeg_audio decoder debug: emulated
startcode (no startcode on following frame)
[00000167] mpeg_audio decoder debug: emulated
startcode (no startcode on following frame)
[00000167] mpeg_audio decoder debug: emulated
startcode (no startcode on following frame)
[00000167] mpeg_audio decoder debug: emulated start
code
[00000167] mpeg_audio decoder debug: emulated
startcode (no startcode on following frame)
which means vlc is not understanding the coding of the
stream out of the pvr !!!!!!!!!

I hope this can be much of a help !
Best Regards
