[vlc] HDTV Card Question

I have heard a lot of good things about the Telemann HiPix DTV-200.  
It's under $400.00 , but it is apparantly very hard to find. The teleman 
website is:

Apparantly, some chip providers are fairly anti-Linux. (TerraLogic) 
Therefore, it is hard to find Linux drivers for cards that use their 
chips. However, there is some positive Linux momentum:

will not bother this site with any more emails regarding this request.
