Well, not  sure quicktime can play  MPEG2 directly... Have you  tried to
read these files with VLC ?

If VLC can read it, that means  taht you'll have to transcode the files,
using another codec. VLC can do this  (to MPEG1 or 4), but you'll need a
powerfull computer.
