Hi,
First time on the mailing-list. Thanks for all the help in advance!
I want to use vlc to play MP at HL HDTV TS transport stream.
My source is captured from Japanese BS HDTV. The video is MPEG2 1080i and
audio is MPEG2 AAC (1.0 to 5.1).
vlc plays the TS file video part with EXCELLENT quality. On my P4 3G I
almost get full framerate using BOB deinterlace on 1080i video content.
But vlc can NOT find the AAC audio track nor give any sound output. From vlc
document, it say AAC is a supported format.
The question is whether vlc can NOT locates the AAC track in the TS, or it
can NOT decode the AAC track?
I'm running Win32 version under WinXP. Tried many vlc versions including the
latest 0.6.2 with same result. Or it's just a simple vlc config issue?
I can put up a small TS clip if someone want to have a look.
Thanks in advance.
regards,
Li On
