There are  two ways  to reduce vlc-s  buffer : one  is the  stram output
buffer on server side, the other is the access buffer on the client.

What you have  to do is to  find the access and  access_out modukles you
are  using (in  you  case, it  is  certainly  udp in  both  case, bu  it
could  also be  HTTP...), and  modifiy  the caching  parametters of  the
corresponding modules in the access  and "access output" sections of the
"modules" part of the preferences.
