[vlc] Bad playback of DivX files

Hi,

when I try to stream DivX files the playback is very bad. The screen shakes
and is very jerky (the quality of the individual frames is normal but the
sequence is bad). The DivX version is 5.1.1 and the encoding was done with
virtual dub 1.5.3.
No error messages are written in the messages window.
Did anybody had a similar problem? Could this be caused by the fact VLC has
to construct MPEG-TS packets from the DivX (avi) file which can cause some
sort of timing problems?
