[vlc] Re: File not working, reproducable error, but not on WMP

VLC doesn't ude directshiow at all  for decoding (remember it is a cross
platform  player). So,  it  might be  that  you file  is  using a  codec
unsupported by VLC (look in the view, message menu to get more info)
