Sorry for cross-posting.
Ok, I downloaded vlc-win32-last.zip which contained the version
"0.7.2-test". I installed it using NSIS + nsi file in that release.
The situation is even worse - QuickTime still plays sound track only,
but now the VLC can not find any playable video track and plays sounds
only.

Could you try with one of the latest development builds ?
