[vlc] using VLC as streaming server

Hello,

i'm trying to use VLC as a MPEG4 video steaming server in RTP. I created
a video file using ffmpeg, and simply redirect the output from VLC to
the network without making any other operation.

i've an application which receives the stream, and tries to decode it.

It works, but the video output from the receiving application isn't
correct, it's as if the keyframes were missing.

Has anyone a clue ? Is there any other free streaming server i could try ?
