Hi, I've installed the 0.7.2 version of VLC on a FreeBSD 4.10.
Playing mpegs works fine, but if I try to use VLC as a udp UNICAST client, in
ipv6, I'm having some error messages and the video doesn't start. On the other
side, I'm streaming with a VLS 0.5.6 which does a good job (I've tested with
tcpdump) (also tried with vlc as a server, but it gave me the same results).
I've tried a few command lines for the VLC client such as:
vlc -vvv --ipv6 udp://2001:660:....:664d (the ipv6 complete server address) or
vlc -vvv --ipv6 udp:\[2001:660:....:664d\]
Also, I've checked on the Preferences setup, and it seems to be ok. I've also
tryied to lauch vlc alone and then fill in the udp field, but I'm having the
same errors.
So, I can't figure out why it doesn't work.
Here is a part of the error messages he's displaying :

It must be a problem with his connection to the VLS, and also with the Buffer
Size and the socket.
If somebody has a clue on that, a hint would be very helpfull.
Thanks anyway for reading this message.
