VLC media player is still in developement, but there are no plans to
release the next version in the next weeks. If you want to test the next
version, and do not fear about bugs, you can take one of the nighty
builds (BeOS/MacOS/Windows) on http://www.videolan.org/~videolan/build,
or get the source code by svn
(svn co svn://svn.videolan.org/vlc/trunk vlc-trunk).
