[vlc] fullscreen to TV thats my secondary display

I have a G5 running 10.3.5 with a new 20" display as my primary and a 
42" ViewSonic plasma TV as my secondary. I try to go to Video device to 
set fullscreen to the Plasma but it's greyed out and I cannot select 
anything. Any suggestions?
