[vlc] Vlc player upgrade 0.8.1 (for Windows) Help requested

Thanks for a great player....I use it before anything else....I am currently using vlc 0.7.2 and have today downloaded vlc 0.8.1

My question is:
 Do I install the upgrade 0.8.1 over the older version in the same location??

Or

Do I uninstall the old version vlc 0.7.2 and do a fresh install of vlc 0.8.1??

Any help will be appreciated...I could find no reference to upgrade procedures in the FAQ section.
