[vlc] some questions in streaming

hello, 

     we are trying to broadcast a stream from a CCTV camera, to
Windows media server to view from intranet and internet for our
college project in graduation. we are succesfully streamed a saved
file in the server to another system in network, but we need some
help in streaming a live content from a digital camera or CCTV to
intranet and internet , pls help us with some ideas. any advice is
greatly appreciated.
