Hi Ajay,
there is an unofficial binary package of VLC for SuSE Linux. Have a 
look at the SuSE-download-page for the link. Btw. Several users are 
working on an official SuSE package, but no-one has released anything 
to us yet.

Additionally, you can download VLC's source and the sources of the 
third-party libraries and compile everything yourself, but that's a bit 
tricky. Have a look at this document, if you want to try it:
