[vlc] VLC On-Screen Diagnostics

Hi,

I have seen a presentation given by the VideoLAN guys where they have 
vlc running on a large projector displaying information such as the 
number of frames per second, render time, resolution, etc. Is this a 
standard feature of vlc, a special build or something else entirely?

If it's part of vlc how is this activated?
