Thanks! I could make it save when streaming mpeg-2, I cannot make it even play an avi stream though (any clues?).
One more question: when it saves the stream it does not play it on the screen. Is there any way I watch the streamed video while it's being saved on the receiver?

Your stream seems to be mpeg1 or mpeg2, which cannot be saved in an avi container. Save your stream in a ps or ts container, or transcode it.
