Sorry bout this lack of infos but, I did tried with both Linux and
Windows and then I tought it was a general problem (a missing
feature not documented?).
Anyway: first thing first I'm testing the stream on a single machine
with windows 2000 running 2 vlc client (version is 0.7.0). One vlc
take input from the directshow and stream it while the other vlc should
get input from this stream and show it.

I have tryed various method of streaming all without success. I also see
the connection established with netstat -a but no output is produced on
the client. This is the error message produced on the server when I try
to use the http streaming method.
GET / HTTP/1.1
Host: localhost
Range: bytes=0-
User-Agent: VLC media player - version 0.7.0 Bond - (c) 1996-2003 VideoLAN
Connection: Close

httpd debug: close unused connection
httpd debug: close connection from 127.0.0.1
Hope these info are enough.
Thank you
Ogee
