Hello,
I've just seen a similar behaviour on RHEL3 with vlc svn.
vlc -I http --http-host 127.0.0.1:12000 --sout rtp/ts:224.224.0.0 *avi
VLC media player 0.7.3-svn Bond
[00000203] main interface: creating httpd
Floating point exception
The current working directory is a NFS mounted directory without write
permissions. If I start the same command from a local directory with or
without write permissions it works.
Bye,
Torsten
