[vlc] VLC packets overhead size.

It seems that when using VLC as a streaming server, the RTP packets
generated have a huge overhead.
I am streaming a video clip encoded at 96kbps for video and 32kbps so I am
expecting the RTP streaming to be in the order of 130-135 kbps. When I
measure the traffic using a network analyzer (Ethereal), it shows 220 kbps.

Is it du to some overhead added by the VLC ?
How can I get ride of this overhead (running the MTU of the network
interface doesn't help).

Thanks
