[vlc] Re: missing dependancies in RPM

What works for me quite well is using apt for rpm (http://freshrpms.net/apt) and adding 
Dag Wieers Repository (http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/). There are some very recent
rpms for many Red Hat distributions and with a simple apt-get update, apt-get upgrade 
they are installed.
