[vlc] Please Share some time...

Sir 
Myself Mr. Panda FROM Indian Institute of Technology recently working on VLC. Sir from VLC 0.7.2 documentation it is clear that it has HTTP Streaming power. 

But sir In lab when i try to start streaming from http server video file *.mpeg4 is start initially and then get stoped after 2 to 3 seconds. But progress bar is going on.

Please suggest me....
for further steps.
one thing more VLC support H.264 video or Not. H.264 Video file is running on server but it not stream from server...
