[vlc] Skins2 compile error

Hi,

I'm trying to compile VLC with skins2 (latest CVS), and the configure 
stops giving me this error message :

configure: WARNING: libxml2 missing the xmlTextReader extension, you 
should update your version
configure: error: libxml2 missing the xmlTextReader extension (required 
for skins2)

I am under Debian Sid and I have libxml, -dev and -header version 
2.6.7-1 installed

If anybody has an idea of what I can do with that, I'd be very thankful 
about it.
